looks like pretty good packages for businesses if the speeds are consistant.
Finally, while we are were discussing on the Home Unlimited plans, BSNL went ahead and officially declared the 1mbps/2mbps Business Plans for Unlimited Usage.

These plans come into effect from 01-Feb-2008, but I feel these are very expensive for any Business to go for.
One point to be noted in the news link is that they do not mention "upto 1mbps or 2mbps". I hope they provide consistent speed.
God only knows when BSNL will give any good news for Home Users. I am atleast expecting that BSNL upgrades the Unlimited plan speed from 256kbps to 512kbps (without modifying the cost).

Oops... seeing this a thought struck me...
If we notice, BSNL is giving business plans at more than 3 times the tariffs of the corresponding Home plans. Like.. Rs.900 for Home 256kbps and the business version costs Rs.3300.
So I think(hope) BSNL will shortly launch 1 and 2 mbps plans for home users at Rs.3000 and Rs.5000 respectively. ;)
What I have noticed is that BSNL like to launch a plan and then decrease its price subsequently, so that they can boast of a tariff cut! So going by that idea we can expect a 1Mbps plan to be around 2000 considering there are many occasion left (aug 15 dec 25 etc.. ) for a price cut!
