lol. i was getting some other wired error before by netsweeper. I think they have taken contract to block all sites for bsnl !

I googled it and got this info

On/around June 21, 2008, the Netsweeper central database will surpass 1 billion currently categorized URLs. This is (one of) the critical differences of the Netsweeper filtering capability. And this capacity is accelerating. We have just completed our full installation at BSNL the (largest) ISP in India. Within 18 months, they estimate an additional 6 million users will average 30 searches, and 4 new URLs categorized per user, each day. This will generate more than 24 million new URLs categorized each day. Our next billion should happen within the next 6 months.

I think BSNL is filtering websites !! Hope they block the proper ones instead of youtube and google !!!!

oh boy. this would be totally against net neutrality if that exists in india.

It happened to me even with google ! I dont think that was the problem with google . Later changed to OpenDNS. Still problem persisted. When i logged out from gmail/orkut, the problem happened to me. Day before with youtube (even for my brother in my native)!

Later somehow became alright.

Many forums many people have discussed the same.. google the keywords, and you will get few results of the same.

now its working.......
