The 3k plan was nice if it was unlimited.

With Home UL1350, I'm downloading 125GB a month. So what they're basically saying with the new 2mbit plan is that I can download lesser than I'm downloading now and pay more than double. That's a great bargain.

BSNL finally starts Fair Usage Policy. Sad. Worst part is that their limits are far worse than Airtel's. I hope Airtel doesn't pick up these limits now.

i think these plans are true.. if u go to the usage portal like http://10.240.89.199 or http://sancharnet.in/dataoneredirect.htm and click on Access Service you will see some of the new plans being introduced.

    I saw is this -

Agreed, night unlimited and affordability is their USP. People put up with all sorts of shit from BSNL just because of those two factors. But these new plans are terrible, a giant leap backwards for broadband in India.
Now boycotting all Tata group products. RIH ratan.

It is worrying that the new unlimited plans have a FU policy and that ordinary plans have no night unlimited, except at 40ps per mb.
If existing plans are changed to this level, the connection will be worthless.

I am really concerned about how Airtel reacts now. Those Fair Usage Policy limits are insane, and if Airtel decides to follow suit, it would be a shame.

i think airtel has set their Fair Usage Policy limits for the time being.

BSNL of course have put on terrible limits.

this is a good lesson for members here who have been claiming that BSNL does not Fair Usage Policy so it's a better choice compared to Airtel.
