Wow. Finally.
They could rollout 3G in bumdiddly godforsaken Bihar but when it came to B'lore or HYD it took them this long. Gotta love neta run Govt. Enterprises.
But don't think the 3g SIM cards were given out on Friday or Saturday in Bangalore - I'm hoping they are available on Monday at least. I'll write a review of the speeds soon after i get it. & if anyone else already got the 3g Sim in Bangalore - please provide info on which exchange you got it from & the name of the contact person. I'm trying in Rajarajeshwarinagar & Vijayanagar. good luck
Ha Ha still waiting for 3G
I got 3G in Oct 09 , Ha ha , all hay to BSnl ,
I still in wonder no 3G in Bangolor from BSNL , Only now
I picked up a free SIM from Malleswaram exchange today morning.
Upon insertion of the SIM, I got a message from BSNL welcoming me to the services. I am able to receive calls, but not make one. I am given to understand that we need to make a First recharge for Rs. 120/-. The dumb people at the exchange did not tell me this. The Cust. Care told me that I can make an easy recharge by contacting the retailer. I attempted the same but could not get through. The retailer does not have proper details. I request somebody on the forum to guide me. Is the FRC in form of a voucher or easy recharge? How do I go about the same? Please help me.
As I am able to receive incoming calls, does it mean that the connection is activated? Please clarify.
I got my free 3g SIM card(as a Privelege Laldline Customer Offer) on Saturday, 20 Feb. The card was active within an hour, but only for incoming calls. Bsnl has to actually do the FRC in this offer, but the staff had no idea about it, typical BSNL! I had to then dial to the marketing team from my phone and make this person talk to them. He has promised to do it by tomorrow.
