"Someone can criticise me or my party; it will be disparaging for me. But do I have the right to say: 'Take it off the (inter)net'? The words the way they are framed have huge possibility of future misuse," he said.

Stating that the content on internet may be defamatory to one person or another, Jaitley also joked that by restricting all that is defamatory, "we will have a very boring internet".

Production companies WILL get many such orders in the future , as obtaining John Doe Order has become something integral part for the release of the movie. So , here is what you can do

1. STOP watching those films , even however good it is or whoever acted in it .
2. Call your ISP and ask why they blocked such and such site and tell them one legal manner in which you are using that site . Linux distro is good place to start.
3. Threaten them that you are willing to disconnect if site isn't reinstated ASAP.
4. Threaten them that you will also call your friends , relative who also own the same XZY ISP to disconnect
5. Login into IMDB , review sites and down vote , leave a bad review like "This movie took away our internet " or something like that.
6. Again , *STOP WATCHING THOSE MOVIE ..*

*
STOP PAYING THEM TO GAG YOUR OWN FREEDOM !!!*

You have better ideas ? Post them too..

*Airtel announces all new affordable tariffs for 3G customers**Launches India’s first ever additional data usage **Smartbytes** packs for Airtel 3G postpaid mobile customers
*
Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, today announced the launch of all new range of affordable and easy to understand tariff plans for its 3G services. Airtel has also introduced Smartbytes additional data usage packs for its postpaid Airtel mobile customers on 3G – thus becoming the first in the market to offer customers with the choice of subscribing to incremental 3G data usage packs. With Airtel 3G Smartbytes, postpaid mobile customers will now be able to continue enjoying uninterrupted access to high speed browsing on their mobile devices even after exhausting their monthly data limits. The Smartbytesadditional data usage packs are available in a range of predetermined price options that allow Airtel 3G customers to choose a plan that suits their needs, while avoiding any bill shocks. With all new price plans and the launch of ‘Smartbytes’ for 3G, Airtel continues to focus on offering customers a gamut of options (across 2G, 3G, DSL and now 4G) towards accelerating and driving the adoption of data services in India.

ACT Broadband Unreliable in Langford Town

Customer ID: 10285725
I do not have ACT Internet connection from 15th May night onwards. No IP address to my Apple Extreme router. I have tried to contact ACT call center for the last two days, always the executives are busy or voice box is full. I have sent the mail to helpdesk on 15th itself. No reply so far.

I got the connection in Nov 2011 and it worked like a charm till two weeks back. Excellent speed etc.. From last two weeks the same issue happened 4 times which got me frustrated.

Initially I paid in May 2011 and waited till Nov 2011 to get the connection and till two weeks back it was not working for just 15 minutes only. So I was happy.
Now 4 times in two weeks , 1st time it is 10 hours now it is 2 days without Internet. I thought of disconnecting my back up BSNL and Airtel earlier. Now looking back I was lucky not to do that. I recomended ACT to many through my blogs too. Now I regret..

I do not understand what happened to ACT customer care? How can they ACT like this?

(Airtel connection is reliable but speed was not enough. BSNL is reliable only at low speeds.)
Regards,
Tomy

I am in dire need of a dual SIM phone costing in the range of Rs. 2000- Rs.5000. The most important criteria as far as I am concerned is extra ordinary battery life and a good keypad for fast texting.
Thanks in advance
