    Default Hayai Broadband on Wikipedia

Hayai broadband - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As you can see... they are pretty strict on removing 'spammy' looking content. I did my part. I have no clue what else to do to ensure that this page stays. help!

    haha already gone!

i guess you need a Ph. D. to survive on Wikipedia.

Who put that up? Wish someone had got a screenshot of it or something!

Oh well, when we get more famous maybe someone can put up such a page.

of course i put that up. did not put in any spammy links. just a link to hayai.in and the speedtest page.
and by the time i had refreshed, it was on queue for quick deletion.
and 5 minutes later it was gone. marked as spam/advertising. with my wikipedia ID linked to it i guess.

last time i collaborated on a wikipedia page... it was for zeest... things were not that tough at that time. but we have several collaborators too.

admin, I would wait till atleast the first billboard or newspaper advert before creating an entry. Otherwise, any outsider will not find grounds for notability.

well yeah it was too early to create the wikipedia page.

i guess we can try again after a couple of months... maybe someone else would do that for us... wikipedia should have indian editors... one of whom might get connected to hayai.

Yeah. When they launch in their next city, then re-launch the wiki page.

There are some small mentions of Hayai Broadband on Wikipedia.

List of ISPs in India - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Communications in India - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fiber to the premises by country - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think for it to really count and have a page created about us, we need to get back in to the Alexa top 100,000 sites and I think it would be better when everything is up and running and there are billboards and stuff (photos of billboards and/or our first few customers - the inaugerations of those connections at which I would like to attend - might help too).

Wikipedia likes references - if someone *does* create a page, then they need to link to as many outside sources as possible. It's an encyclopedia, not an advertisement or fan site.

Disclaimer: I did actually do a significant cleanup/correction of these 3 pages about a week ago. Some information was out of date, the FTTP references didn't exist at all for India, and I removed some rather opinionated talk about prices vs quality of Broadband in India.
