Look, vishalrao, I agree that the things being asked for on boot in PCLOS are dumb It's lame, and Texstar have recieved their share of criticism for it. But saying "PCLOS sucks" just because of this is not right. Look in terms of user friendliness, look from the eyes of a Windows addict. The control center tries to emulate the Windows Control Panel, but provides a lot more powerful features than it. KDE is highly customised, and if you look at the default settings, they have been fine tuned for ease of use and a systematical, hierarchial management.
It has gui apps for almost everything. redo-mbr is a cool gui tool, that can be used from the live cd to restore your GRUB after a Windows installation. You can edit the xorg.conf, fstab and all other config files, without actually opening them or knowing what they are, or even if they exist. ntfs-config and the PCLOS control center take care of that.
Overall, what matters in a distro is the question that - "Can I use thins thing for 6 months straight without any problems? Can I turn this into a power packed desktop experience?"
If the answer is yes, then go ahead and have fun! That distro is PCLOS for me!
