Fedora 9 add a lot of new features but doesn't add the most important thing - ease of use. They need to realise that an advanced distro will never recieve a large userbase, at least not until Microsoft still has a large share of the market.

Ppl plz dont install F9 if you have Nvidia cards. I made the same mistake F9 has a prerelease Xserver wich Nvidia driver doesnt support. Apart from this one issue , it rox. Networkmanager is so kool, I never have any trouble with my Wireless Net now like I had in F8. Sound Quality is better ! Dunno how that happened , but the same mp3's sound better in Amarok than they did in F8. KDE4 takes a little while getting used to

Overall , I would say its worth the upgrade if you dont have Nvidia Cards.

heh , I didnt read thread again that until u pointed it.

Back when I was in school, I use to hang out with group of kids that would only beat up kids who were smarter than us.
And when I discovered the interweb, I hung out with people who derived pleasure from belittling people who have accomplished more than I ever will.

Hmm I think I am seeing some pattern here.

@aniketvb: i believe the X server (or nvidia driver) will be updated/available soon via online update so nvidia 3d accel will work, till then the nv or nuveau driver works well... see Fedora 9: Making stuff work The GNOME Commentary
