    Arrow MTNL Broadband: Linksys SPA-3102

    Hi there...

I want to use Linksys SPA-3102 for the purpose of using an IP-PBX (incoming).

I have MTNL triband and one lan-card. I change the ADSL router to USB, and using Lan card for SPA. Initially, it could detect **** and played IVR. Lateron, it didn't. Can't configure it anymore.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Essbebe,

    Thanks for your response.

    Those things have sorted out.

But, now my problem is I am not able to get Caller ID transferred to 3102 Info Page. But when I debug SPA logs, I get this :

use SPA3102 in India, and though my PSTN is CID enable (DTMF CID) and I have checked that with normal CID detecting machine, which is showing the CID of the caller.
In fact, 3102 is also receiving the CID as per syslog :

    syslog server(port:514) started on Sun Dec 16 20:23:25 2007
    FXO:Start CNDD
    FXO:digit=1
    FXO:digit=2
    FXO:digit=3
    FX):digit=4
    FXO:digit=5
    FXO:digit=6
    FXO:digit=7
    FXO:digit=8
    FXO:digit=9
    FXO:digit=0
    AUD:Stop PSTN Tone
    AUD:Stop PSTN Tone
    Calling:10000@192.168.2.2:0

    (I've changed the numbers, naturally)

I'm using 3102 with 3cx (ippbx), and incoming calls are perfectly forwarding to 3CX.

However, in the Info page of webadmin, 3102 does not show the CID, it says:

    Last PSTN Caller: ,
I have tried all the combinations of Caller ID Method, but nothing helps.

Any guide/suggestions would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance...

1.Selected from Google search " callerID in VOIP"
How to Get Caller ID with VoIP | eHow.com.

    2. From Yahoo Search " spa3102+callerID"
Linksys SPA3102 Telephone Adapter with 1 FXS and 1 FXO Port w/Built-in NAT (SPA3102-UK) Reviews

This product is great when you get it working, the main thing that I had a problem with was the phone not ringing. To solve this issue you need a RJ11 adapter WITH ring capacitor or a spare adsl microfilter as these have the ring capacitor in them.

The following document covers all the config options; http://www.sipura.com/Documents/Sipu...uidev2.0.9.pdf

And this gives you the regional specific settings for the UK; http://www.provu.co.uk/pdf/sipura/si...l_settings.pdf

Now I just have to get bulldog to fix my broadband so the line doesn't drop when making calls so that I can make use of the PSTN to VOIP feature!

    3. Answers.com you have asked the question there.

    Hi Essvbebe for your reply.

I think I was not clear stating my problem.

I'm not using SPA for VOIP. I'm using it for IP-PBX. So, SPA is connected to my phone line (which has got caller-id facility) and to my computer through ethernet. My computer runs an IPPBX, 3CX.

Though my phone line is caller-id activated, and though SPA receives (see debug reports above) the caller-id, it's not somehow neither transferring it to its webadmin nor to 3CX.

    So, that's my problem.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks...

Yes. I am still learning about your set up.
Tried the web site/s below: for FAQ's set up etc.
    http://www.3cx.com/PBX/VOIP-phones.html
IP PBX: How an IP PBX / VOIP phone system works

    Nothing about CalledID enabled phones.
May be A'SIP' enabled Or 'IPPhone" can be tried. ( do they have CallerID facility?)
Also there could be problem in DTMF code ( I think used in India)conversion .

    Thanks!

Sorry. I do not have one. My relative uses Vonage.

Can this device be used to setup both a VoIP service and POTS such as BSNL on a single telephone instrument? Will both work simultaneously?
