For torrents speed is directly dependent on upload speed of the seeds.
Download from Private tracker and you will max out your connection.
I use default setting and easily get 180-210 kB/s.
Torrents best setting to get maximum speed.... guys.....regardless of ur torrent client ......post ur torrent client setting over here.......i mean d u/l and d/l speeds and oder settings tat max out ur download speeds........n plz do not go off the topic...............

and cant tell the port used

Re: Torrents best setting to get maximum speed.... well, even i run on default torrent settings which get's me the max speed for my connection...HTTP download yields me 27KBps while on the other hands torrents provides 28KBps constantly.
Make sure that ports are forwarded properly

Re: Torrents best setting to get maximum speed.... yeah dark horizon......same condition here.....when i set my upload speed between 6-8 KB, download maximises......bt most of the site recommends 80 % rule.....[i.e. 80 % of upload speed maximizes download speed] which is nt true for mtnl.....
i also wnt to upload while i d/l sumthing at max d/l speed...........
so going by this rule if i set my download speed to 22KB den my download speed lowers down.......
sites says.... "THe more you seed the more you get"...
den y dnt we mtnl users get speeds???
