how i should say i dont know, even afte 24 days that only thing i got is a line pulled up and a modem .
What else? yesterday got beaten up in Reliance for a fairly pissed of comment :
' a govt office would need less attendance to get a simple thing done'. They took me behind the building saying i could share my issues in back office and beat me up.' Never faced such gundas sort experience before.

I have detailed all my experience to Reliance email ids available and none seems interested to attend. Even to help others from such a experience I have posted a blog in my blogspace:
Reliance Broadband: Gunda Service at your desk Saffrongeek’s Diarylog
Now thinking of forming a anti reliance gunda culture website and also moving legally in consumer court.

I really don't know what to say. I mean how the **** can they (Reliance employees) even think of touching the customer?

I agree with you - BSNL is much better than Reliance.

Get BSNL man. Talk to babus. They can help in speeding up the process. I got my BSNL broadband connection within 24 hours.

Airtel took 3 days to install.

So if you talk to babus, they can help.

airtel's 3 day installation policy works almost everywhere.

with bsnl, you are going to be lucky if you get the connectivity within the first couple of days.

exceptions are always there. airtel gave me a working iptv connection within 30 hours after i contacted the senior people... and these 30 hours included a sunday when the wiring was done. the wiring people had their day off on that day but they were specifically told to do it on that day itself.

The main problem here is .. The hub is full in my area .. and the exchange guys told me that there are already 30+ waiting list for BB..
Moreover I dont know to speak kannada (fluently) .. and most of the wiring guys & BSNL babus dont talk to u unless u know proper kannada..am planning to take my frnd who knows kannada along with me..

    hi to all,

I do agree to few things piyush has shared here as I have experienced the trouble similiar especially with Tata landline and Reliance broadband.

But, piyush: I think iChaitanya suggested the practical way out. I am sure there would be no "hub full" if you could reach them and serve some perks. One of my previous colleague, I believe , got in similiar line.

I moved to BSNL, and believe me, they are perfect for making me delighted. I went and talked at enquiry. Luckily being a regular humble face helped and helped me meet SDE who handles connection. He called up Main Exchange, got my application processed , and made sure i got the connection at home withing 18 hours.

In HSR layout, I think Hathway cable provides a decent connection and customer support. I am sure there should be a local similiar options to try out or to keep as secondary back up.

Wishing you all a nice weekend, to you too Piyush.
