    1) Clarity no where near DVD.
    2) Sound not CD quality.
    3) Need to pay for installation charge when we shift our stb when we change our house!
    4) Not many Tamil channels

    nice things:

    1) Recharge cards available everywhere
    2) Subscribition will resume very fast once we do it via website.

This thread makes everyone feel TS is a heaven ;)

The TS website is designed using Flash and might be your browser has some issues with Flash and Java applets is all I can say"

Only few report about the problems. Most of the customers doesn't even visit the forums. Tatasky is claimed to have more than 2 million subscribers. How many have we seen in the forums? Only few and that too same members in each and every forum. Some of them are from TS itself!!!

I am in Bangalore, for the past few days i am facing few discrepancies in few channels like suntv, vijay tv, podhigai etc, and my signal stength is 60% and signal quality is always fluctuating. There is no proper response from CC. I am not satisified with Tatasky.

Any of the subscriber facing similar problems. Kindly guide me for further action.

Well written Mr.Kunal my friend but i wont agree with you the figures which states.........

Package rates before 1st June 2008
    Rs.350 (South Jumbo) + Rs.30 (LS Gold) + 199/12 (Sports Gold, Only available annually) = Rs. 396.60
    Package rates w.e.f 1st June 2008:
    Rs. 310 (South Jumbo) + Rs.40 (Sports Pack) + Rs.15 (Ten sports, a-le-carte) + Rs.45 (LS Gold) + Rs.30 (Sports Gold) = Rs.440
Excess Cost paid by the customer : Rs.440- Rs.396.6 = Rs.43.40 per subscriber
Total Earnings pm for 2 million subscribers = Rs. 8,68,00,000(Rs. 8 crores and 68 Lakhs)
Total Earnings Per Annum= Rs. 1,04,16,00,000(Rs. 104 Crores and 16 Lakhs)

I cant go with you in this issue as you cant come to a conclusion that all the 2 million customers are paying Rs.440 wef from 1st june .........there are south indians who are not interested in hindi channels so those people wont got LS gold pack, there might be people who may not subscribe Tensports for 12 months as now it is available in ala carte, till now ESS channels are free till Sept - 30th.......and its not clear what will be the rate for those channels, above all there are some people who are not interested in sports they may not subscribe to ESS and tensports.............Taking this into consideration i dont think your facts are correct but i agree with you that with new packages and rates their profit will shoot up there is no question on that........

Once again i appreciate your writing into your blog as it is well written......
