u cant. dth as a technology would be slower compared to local antennas i guess. u can soundproof your room however, that should work.
Dear all
I am having a very strange problem which has spoiled the entire fun and thrill of the cricket matches on TS.
In my appartment arround 5-6 students stay in one flat and they watch match on DD (thru anteena) & some ppl who got cable connection, and guys beleive me everytime any wicket falls they see it first as i guess there is delay of 2-3 seconds in TS so any thing interesting happening in INDIAs favour we come to know thru thier shouting and pitty that even after paying for technology we get 2-3 second dealy whcih spoil the entire thrill of match.
Just imagine how pitty it was for that thrilling tie & bowl out VS PAKISTAN and yeterday with SA.
All tech experts of this blog please advice me wht to do?????
u cant. dth as a technology would be slower compared to local antennas i guess. u can soundproof your room however, that should work.
The matches are not telecasted in DD for your information they guys who are residing near you would be seeing the match by cable connection![]()
i thought feeds for cable (huge dish) and DTH (small dish) both came from satellites. so shudnt have delay.
when i had cable and a cricket match was coming on both dd and star/espn/setmax... dd was always a second or two ahead.
yes DD wud be ahead because transmission is local, just few km away.
I think the delay is because of set top box.It takes some time to convert analog signal to digital.
This is not only with tata sky but even CAS is 2-3 second late than normal cable connection it is due to the conversion of signal by set top box. So if u use any kind of stb to view u will have 2-3 sec late transmission.![]()
I think better is I will sell TS or DISH TV to them so that no problems at all
So this lag time only experienced with TS or any other DTH operator?
